How long have you been in business?
We purchased the original store then located in North Hollywood, Ca. back in 1951 from Mr. Hooper who sadly passed.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a recognized authorized dealers for most of the leading Camera Manufactures including Canon, Nikon, Sony and many more. We buy direct from the leading manufactures which allow us to provide full support and warranty. We also specialize in photographic processing services and digital imaging services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Myself as Operations Manager for Hooper Camera grew up around nature photography with a background in electronics. Today I use that experience to promote the latest digital imaging products and services to our valued customers.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have sales associates with many years of real world hands on experience in the photographic trade. They pocess the practical knowledge to explain the latest features and how to apply current technology for todays needs. Our photo lab technicians have been in the business for over 20 years each on average. We offer both the traditional (Analog) services as well as the latest (Digital) photolab finishing products and services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have three locations in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties of Southern California.
